JA Career Success equips students with the knowledge required to get and keep a job in high-growth industries. Students will explore the crucial workplace skills employers seek but often find lacking in young employees. Students also will learn about valuable tools to find that perfect job, including resumes, cover letters and interviewing techniques.

Would you rather tell students about the workplace or get them to experience it? Students are introduced to careers through one day, on-site corporate visits. It’s an authentic real-world experience for students, enhanced with classroom preparatory and follow up activities. Internship opportunities are provided to top student performers.

DURATION: 15 SESSIONS + COMPETITION + START-UP OPPORTUNITY

Students turn classrooms into real start-up. With guidance from volunteer consultants, the program provides students the opportunity to start-up organize and operate actual enterprising companies to learn about real life business processes and functions. It ends with an annual competition. Winners will be selected for the Start-Up Bridge program.

The Start-Up Bridge Program

AGE : 20-29 | DURATION : 4-6 MONTHS

The Start-Up Bridge Program gives carefully selected Emirati entrepreneurial youth who are ready to take their ideas to next level, the chance to establish real business entities. It offers candidates a combination of training, mentoring, seed funding, and incubation over a structured 4-6 month period resulting in the deployment of their start-ups.

JA Personal Finance® explores the fundamental elements of personal finances: earnings, saving and investing, budgeting, credit, risk management and giving. Students apply these elements to a personal financial plan that allows them to set specific goals for their lifelong financial needs and desired quality of life.
